Metropolitan Park Hike

What to expect

The Metropolitan Park represents an unique forest and fauna reserve, located entirely inside the urban perimeter of Panama City, it forms an important Biological Corridor along Soberania National Park.

The park is an excellent spot for bird watching, to see monkeys, raccoons, sloth, squirrels, tall trees; among others species. The tour starts usually early in the morning and you will be able to hike for approximately 2 – 3 hours on easy trails.

The perfect place to enjoy nature close to the city with the family, solo or in a group.

Notes

• Recommended to Bring sun block, hat, sunglasses, insect repellent, small backpack and some snack.

• The duration might vary depending on the group pace, usually takes 2 3 hours.
• It could be done either in the morning or in the afternoon.
• Not wheelchair accessible.
• Easy to intermediate activity.
• No age restrictions.

• Tour may be changed or cancel due to weather conditions.
• Tour duration: Approximately 4 hours.
